Employer Overview
Western Railway, under the Ministry of Railways, is inviting online applications from eligible candidates for 5066 apprenticeship slots under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The apprenticeships are available across various trades and divisions for the year 2024-2025. The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC-WR) will handle the online application process through its website. This is an excellent opportunity to receive hands-on training in multiple trades within Western Railway.

Eligibility Criteria

| Technical Qualification | ITI certificate in the relevant trade, affiliated with NCVT/SCVT |
| Age Limit | Minimum: 15 years, Maximum: 24 years as of 22/10/2024 |
| Age Relaxation | SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years, PwD/Ex-Servicemen: 10 years |

Stipend
Selected candidates will be paid a stipend during the one-year apprenticeship training period, in accordance with the existing rules set by the State Governments.
Selection Process
| Selection Criteria | Details |

| Merit List Based On | Average percentage of marks from both Matriculation and ITI exams (equal weightage to both) |
| Tie-breaking Criteria | If marks are tied, the older candidate will be preferred. If age is also tied, the candidate who passed matriculation earlier will be selected. |
| No Written Test/Viva | Selection is based purely on merit; there will be no written exam or interview |
