Qualifications

  • Nationality:
    • Must be a citizen of India or subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, to permanently settle in India.
  • Age Limits:
    • IMA: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than July 2, 2000, and not later than July 1, 2005.
    • INA: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than July 2, 2000, and not later than July 1, 2005.
    • AFA: 20 to 24 years as of July 1, 2024 (born not earlier than July 2, 2000, and not later than July 1, 2004). Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable up to 26 years.
    • OTA (Men): Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than July 2, 1999, and not later than July 1, 2005.
    • OTA (Women): Unmarried women, issue-less widows who have not remarried, and issue-less divorcees who have not remarried (in possession of divorce documents) born not earlier than July 2, 1999, and not later than July 1, 2005.
  • Educational Qualifications:
    • IMA and OTA: Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
    • INA: Degree in Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.
    • AFA: Degree from a recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

Salary

  • Lieutenant: Pay Level 10, ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 per month​​.

Application Instructions

  1. Online Registration:

  2. Submission of Application:

Selection Process

  1. Written Examination:
    • Objective type questions covering English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Mathematics (for IMA, INA, AFA) or English and General Knowledge (for OTA).
  2. SSB Interview:
    • Candidates who qualify the written examination will be called for the SSB interview, which includes psychological tests, group tasks, and personal interview.
  3. Medical Examination:
    • Candidates recommended by the SSB will undergo a medical examination to assess their physical and mental health.
