Educational Qualifications

Requirement Details
Mandatory Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or institution. A Forex certificate from IIBF is essential (valid by December 31, 2024).
Preferred Certifications such as CDCS, Trade Finance, or International Banking are highly desirable.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in trade finance processing in a supervisory role at any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Foreign Bank.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in trade finance and forex transaction processing.

The suggested postings are Hyderabad and Kolkata. However, candidates must be prepared for transfers across India based on operational needs.

Job Responsibilities

Key Duties

  • Document Scrutiny: Examine trade finance documents, including Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, and Collections, for compliance with regulatory guidelines (RBI, ICC, FEDAI, etc.).
  • Transaction Processing: Process trade finance and forex transactions accurately within the specified Turnaround Time (TAT).
  • Reconciliation: Manage and reconcile trade finance and forex-related entries in SBI’s systems.
  • Guidance and Support: Assist branches and junior staff with trade finance queries and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Audit and Compliance: Ensure timely submission of audit reports and adherence to all regulatory requirements.

Additional Tasks

  • Participate in process reviews and training sessions.
  • Monitor periodic activities such as customer reconciliation and payment tracking.
