Salaried Amin Rs. 21,700 – 69,100/- (Level-5)

Qualifications

For Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist, Junior Typist, and Stenographer Grade-III:

  • Must be a citizen of India.
  • Must have passed at least a +3 examination or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • Must have a Diploma in Computer Application (DCA) from a recognized institute.
  • Age between 18 and 32 years as of June 20, 2024 (age relaxation as per rules for reserved categories).
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write Odia and have passed a test in Odia equivalent to the M.E. standard.
  • Must be of good character, sound health, and free from organic defects or bodily infirmity.
  • Must not have more than one spouse living, if married.
  • For Junior Typist: Minimum speed of 40 words per minute in typewriting (through computer).
  • For Stenographer Grade-III: Minimum speed of 80 words per minute in shorthand and 40 words per minute in typewriting (through computer).

For Salaried Amin:

  • Must be a citizen of India.
  • Must have passed the matriculation or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
  • Must have passed the Revenue Inspector (RI) Training from a recognized institution.
  • Must have knowledge in computer applications.
  • Age between 18 and 32 years as of June 20, 2024 (age relaxation as per rules for reserved categories).
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write Odia and have passed a test in Odia equivalent to the M.E. standard.
  • Must be of good character, sound health, and free from organic defects or bodily infirmity.
  • Must not have more than one spouse living, if married.

Application Fees

No examination fee is required to be paid by the candidates.


Application Instructions

  1. Candidates are required to submit their duly filled application forms and sign them by hand.
  2. Applications should be sent via Speed Post/Registered Post to the Office of the District Judge, Puri.
  3. Government employees must apply through the proper channel.
  4. Ensure all necessary documents and self-attested copies of certificates, mark sheets, and other relevant documents are enclosed.

Selection Process

For Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist:

  1. Written Examination:
    • English: 100 marks (2 hours)
    • Arithmetic: 100 marks (1 hour)
    • General Knowledge: 100 marks (1 hour)
  2. Computer Science Test (Practical): 100 marks (1 hour)
  3. Viva-Voce: 45 marks

For Junior Typist & Stenographer Grade-III:

  1. Written Examination: English (qualifying in nature) – 100 marks (2 hours)
  2. Shorthand & Typewriting Test (Stenographer Grade-III): 50 marks
    • Shorthand: 5 minutes
    • Typewriting: 10 minutes
  3. Typewriting Test (Junior Typist): 50 marks (10 minutes)
  4. Computer Science Test (Practical): 100 marks (1 hour)
  5. Viva-Voce: 35 marks

For Salaried Amin:

  1. Written Examination:
    • English: 30 marks
    • Arithmetic: 100 marks
    • Technical Knowledge in Survey and Settlement (Theory and Practical)
  2. Computer Science Test (Practical): To test proficiency in various computer applications
  3. Viva-Voce: To assess alertness, general outlook, and potential qualities

Physical Requirements and Disabilities

  • Suitable for persons with disabilities such as OL (One Leg affected), OA (One Arm affected), and PD (Partial deaf with suitable aid).
  • Physical requirements include sitting, hearing/speaking, seeing, manipulating with fingers, and reading/writing.
