Qualification Required:
The candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 65% marks and a valid GATE-2023 score in the relevant discipline. The required qualifications for each position are as follows:
- Executive Trainee (Chemical): Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology in Chemical/Petrochemical/Chemical Technology/Petrochemical Technology/Chemical Technology & Polymer Science/Chemical Technology & Plastic Technology.
- Executive Trainee (Civil): Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology in Civil.
- Executive Trainee (GAILTEL TC/TM): Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Electronics/Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Telecommunication/Telecommunication/Electrical & Instrumentation/Instrumentation & Control/ Electrical & Electronics.
- Executive Trainee (BIS): Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology in Computer Science/Information Technology.
Selection Process:
The selection process for the Executive Trainee positions will consist of a Group Discussion, Personal Interview, and Pre-Employment Medical Examination. The weightage for GATE-2023 score, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview will be 65%, 15%, and 20%, respectively. Candidates who have been shortlisted based on their GATE-2023 score will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Salary and Benefits:
The selected candidates will be placed on a probation period of one year and will receive a stipend of Rs. 60,000/- per month. Upon successful completion of the probation period, they will be absorbed as Executive Trainees in the pay scale of Rs. 60,000 – 1,80,000/- and will also receive various benefits such as medical facilities, house rent allowance, and provident fund, among others.
