Job Description:
UPSC invites applications for Assistant Commandants in CAPFs for 2024. This recruitment drive aims to fill 506 vacancies across BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, and SSB.
Organized by UPSC for Ministry of Home Affairs, this presents an opportunity to join CAPFs. UPSC conducts exams and recruits for various civil services. CAPFs handle internal security duties nationwide.
Eligibility:
Candidates need a Bachelor’s degree, aged 20-25 as of 01.08.2024, with age relaxations. NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ certificate is desirable.
Selection Process:
Written exam on 04.08.2024 (Paper I: General Ability and Intelligence, Paper II: General Studies, Essay, and Comprehension). Followed by Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests, Medical Standards Tests, and Interview/Personality Test by UPSC. Final selection based on combined scores.
