- Project Engineer-I: Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience.
- Trainee Engineer-I / Officer-I: No experience required.
Age Limit (as of January 1, 2025)
- Project Engineer-I: Maximum 32 years.
- Trainee Engineer-I / Officer-I: Maximum 28 years.

- OBC-NCL: 3 years

Selection Process
Trainee Engineer-I / Officer-I
- Written Test: 100 marks (objective-type).
- General/EWS/OBC: 35% minimum qualifying marks.
- SC/ST/PwBD: 30% minimum qualifying marks.
Project Engineer-I
- Written Test: 85% weightage.
- Interview: 15% weightage.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks:
- Written Test: General/EWS/OBC: 35%; SC/ST/PwBD: 30%
- Interview: General/EWS/OBC: 35%; SC/ST/PwBD: 30%
